The Arts Arena at The American University of Paris was founded in 2007 as a nonprofit initiative for the
creative and performing arts and issues of culture and society. It serves as a laboratory for thinking and
presenting the arts from a multicultural perspective and for energizing connections both across artistic
disciplines and between the arts and business, economics, cultural policy, sciences, technology, and
development. Its exhibitions, performances, debates, colloquia, and lecture series are free to the public,
and have taken place in Paris, London, and New York. Arts Arena publications are available internationally.
